Bethany is a leadership and executive coach, facilitator, entrepreneur, and lover of people. She has spent her career in learning and development, supporting people and organizations on their paths to greatness.
As a coach, Bethany’s approach is grounded in deep listening, intuitive challenging, and the ability to see to the heart of an issue. She has worked with clients across a broad range of industries including education, technology, consulting, non-profits, startups, and healthcare.
As a facilitator, she is engaging and motivating, encouraging participation, reflection, and interaction at every turn. She’s had the honor of designing and implementing training programs and retreats across dynamic business environments and tranquil oases.
As a person, Bethany is both driven and approachable. She loves spending time with her family, is passionate about nature, and loves to learn and explore. She’s been a German exchange student, the keynote speaker at her college graduation, an actress in several plays, and can turn a mean cartwheel. She is married to her loving and patient partner, Don, and they live together with their twin boys in Northeastern Pennsylvania.
In addition to her work at Maley Group, Bethany is Co-Founder and Vice President, Education of The Next Play, an organization that empowers women athletes to make successful transitions from their athletic careers into lives and professional careers they love. The Next Play believes that the world needs more women leaders, and is motivated to action by the statistic that while only 15% of C-suite positions are held by women, an impressive 96% of those women have played a sport.
Bethany is a graduate of Georgetown University’s International Coach Federation (ICF)-Accredited Leadership Coaching Program and holds her Professional Certified Coach (PCC) Credential. She is certified in the comprehensive 360 tool The Leadership Circle Profile, and earned her BS in Business Management from Babson College in Wellesley, MA.
